Alrigh’! We are nestled away on Angus Street, just off Albany Road. We like to think we’re a little surprise tucked away, and despite the inconspicuous location, the studio has seen a steady stream of chuffed clients year after year and most days we’re kept busier than Chippy Lane on a Saturday night!

The studio came from humble beginnings, established in 2001 as a way for Gary to finally realise his dream of becoming a self-employed tattoo artist full-time. When it was first unveiled, Moko Tattoo Studio was modern, hygienic and minimalist. Gary specialised in black and grey work, and as his reputation grew, so did demand. Ez joined the studio in 2004, and Arthur in 2006. After years of invaluable work, Ez went to pursue his own dream in 2017. Arthur remained, and continued to widen his repertoire and develop his individual style, until moving on in 2021. Gary is still at the helm, steering the studio through twenty years and still the king of black and grey work.

The shop has had varying degrees of facelifts throughout the last twenty years, and our latest refurbishment conjures the vibes of 18th century traditional gentlemen’s clubs and not being funny like, we absolutely loves it! Come check it out for yourself today!
